Our recent campaign this September with Enable Ireland has been record-breaking thanks to the incredible generosity of both our customers and staff who helped us collect over 4600 bags of donations to help take action for children with disabilities.
We were delighted to team up with Ireland’s leading fashion blogger, presenter and mum Pippa O’Connor for this campaign, who was joined at the launch in of Give Up Clothes For Good by seven year old Ava McHugh, from Tallaght, in Dublin, who also featured in our campaign store point of sale and advertising materials. Ava, who has Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy, is just one of many children who that depend on Enable Ireland for much needed support including physiotherapy.
TK Maxx and Enable Ireland have been working together since 1997, raising over €1.7 million to support over 4,500 children and young people with disabilities and their families in local communities, in 14 counties across Ireland.
So thank you again to everyone that got involved and helped us achieve these amazing results to help more children like Ava reach their potential. Your generosity and efforts continue to astound us every time.
The campaign runs year-round with special donation boxes in all stores so you too can help Enable Ireland take action by donating a bag of unwanted clothes, accessories and household items to your nearest TK Maxx store at any time of year.
