Aideen has Cerebral Palsy Spastic Diplegia and first started coming to Enable Ireland in Arklow when she was only 9 months old. She has physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech & language therapy.
She loves all her team and would not be where she is today without them. We, her family, and the Enable Ireland team, work together to help her progress and become as independent as she can.
She had two major surgeries last year, one in the UK and one in Dublin, these surgeries have helped her become even more mobile, and she is using her walking frame more and more.
Aideen is now 7, and is in first class. She loves horse riding and the horse she rides is called Nemo. She also loves swimming and arts & crafts.
